The opportunity to work for a successful engineering business that is a machinist of components for Aerospace, Defense, Oil & Gas and Medical markets. Supported by a large Group which has a suite of other business sites within the UK, USA and Asia/Pacific.
- Ability to Set/Operate HAAS CNC Milling machines.
- Ability to set up and Run through CNC machine tools.
- Ability to recommend optimization on existing tooling methods
- Experience of operating machinery using Fanuc controls
- Measurement of Parts in Metric and Imperial.
- Use of all types of measuring equipment Including but not limited to verniers, external micrometers, digital height gauges, internal bore mics.
- Working to tight tolerances.
- Changing Tool Offsets
- Ability to interpretate technical drawings
- Due Diligence and attention to detail
- Additional (Not essential, training will be given):_
- Single Spindle / Single Turret Machine Experience
- Twin Spindle / Twin Turret Machine Experience
- Experience machining Hard Metals and Exotic Metals
- The ability to use Keyence, CMM and Vici measurement equipment
- Be able to work on their own, whilst being in a team environment.

**Contracted Hours - 39 Hours per week**

Monday -Thursday 6 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Friday 6 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

Hourly Rate - £12.00 to £15.37 Dependent on experience.

1 x 15-minute paid break and 1 x 30-minute break un-paid.

25 days holiday plus stats per annum
