The purpose of this role is to provide repairs, maintenance (and if necessary grounds keeping role) so that the services are well maintained to a good standard of repair, and the grounds are kept neat and tidy.

Please note that the salary is negotiable depending on experience.

**Description of the role**

In this dynamic role you will be responsible for the property maintenance of our varied services.

You will need experience in carpentry, electrics, plumbing and have a full UK driving licence.

You'll need to ensure that all repairs are carried out effectively and quickly, and to a good standard, with adherence to health and safety, fire safety and relevant building and construction related regulations.

You will also be able to readily identify emerging maintenance issues, and report them to the Director or Operations Manager, thereby minimising impact, risk and damage.

The role may also include gardening, especially during the summer. So you may also be responsible for keeping the grounds and gardens around the properties neat and tidy.

You must have good general property maintenance knowledge and skills, and experience in providing maintenance services to other clients.

You will be able to communicate and interact well with people and be able to read and write to a good standard.

You must have good knowledge of relevant health and safety and trade regulations, and have the ability to assess and manage risk.

Importantly, you must have access to your own tools and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
