**Cardiff Bay Yacht Club**

Have a vacancy for a Marina Maintenance Operative. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a boating and maintenance background to work with a small team servicing the Marina pontoons, club and grounds.

**Duties**:
Carry out boatyard operations, including launching and recovery of member’s boats

Dispense fuel & electricity top up recording details on Harbour Assist system

Take payment for the above and any outstanding invoices on Harbour Assist

Clear slipways using club tractor

Carry out general maintenance of pontoons and boatyard to include pontoons replacement, servicing of joints, pressure washing etc

General maintenance of the clubhouse and grounds

Assist members taking details for boat movement requests and lift in/out

Check pontoons ropes & awnings in heavy weather

Provide additional occasional cover where required

Undertake any other such reasonable duties as may be required

Attributes: Sound knowledge and experience of boating

IT literate

Good people skills

General Maintenance experience and practical skills

Immediate start

**Salary**: £21,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
