Head of Business Partnering

The Head of Business Partnering will report to the HR Director and will be responsible for developing a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors as well as supporting with the drive of the overall business strategy from a HR perspective.

The Head of Business Partnering Responsibilities:

- Develop a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors to ensure they are providing the business with the support and partnership required to drive the overall business strategy from a HR perspective
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to elevate the business partnering service by understanding key requirements.
- Act as the dedicated HR Business Partner to the largest business unit in the organisation
- Coach line to manage their people and to address employee relations issues, and embed a performance culture which includes SMART objective setting, constructive feedback and performance management
- Identify key skills for retention opportunities, developing actions to retain an engaged and motivated workforce
- Play a key role in the implementation of HR initiatives, ensuring they are effectively embedded in response to specific business requirements
- Work with line managers to identify any issues and provide solutions around absence levels, turnover, ER cases;
- Provide timely, accurate and pragmatic advice to managers and employees on the full range of routine and complex HR issues; developing preventative strategies to minimise escalations

Head of HR Business Partnering:

- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent
- Previous experience of operating at a similar level, Head of HR Business Partnering, Senior HR Manager managing HR Business Partners or Senior HR Business Partner
- Experienced in developing a HR team
- Excellent working knowledge of improvement law
- Experienced in implementing HR strategy and change management initiatives
- Previous experience of working within an Engineering or Manufacturing Environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation and to develop this newly created role. The role will be a hybrid position but initially the requirement will be office based to ensure the incumbent is able to bed in the key relationships withinthe HR function and wider business to ensure ongoing success of the role.
