**About The Role**:

- We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Supervisor - High Care** to join our Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.**4 on 2 off, rotating mornings and afternoons**

**Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Have a good level of communication at all levels both written and verbal
- Be able to review performance, feeding back to shift managers using the performance review paperwork
- Be able to complete investigations relating to issues within the department
- Be encouraging and supportive of line managers and other Supervisors.
- Ensure that all colleagues are treat with dignity in line with company policies, and supporting team members when needed
- To be trained and to carry out route cause analysis
- Utilise appropriate agreed production line KPI’s as a basis for the development of performance improvement plans within the department and cascade these KPI’s through the teams, ensuring that they are translated and used at all levels.
- The highest quality and food safety standards are embedded through the department and standards of hygiene and good housekeeping appropriate to a quality food manufacturer are maintained (GMP)
- Owns safety, training and development of all individuals in the department to enable progression to resource growth or to replace roles. (Succession Planning)
- To maintain excellent communication through the different departments and functions ensuring plans are adhered too and appropriate stock levels of packaging and raw materials are achieved.
- Motivates, develops and empowers team members to achieve set targets and personal goals
- Encourages teamwork and develops good relationships with all Factory areas.
- Insists on the highest level of external and internal customer standards and focus.
- Utilisation of SIC (Short Interval Control) systems to continuously improve line performance.
- Ensures accurate line staffing numbers and line run rates, challenging where necessary and recommending changes where required with the support of the line managers.
