- A hands-on-role, leading a small team in the maintenance and development of our stunning grounds and gardens on this 30 acre hotel estate, ensuring our surroundings always look their best, rain or shine.
- Have a genuine input into how our beautiful estate looks through all four seasons as you bring your professional horticultural knowledge and ideas to share with your fellow gardening team and the senior hotel team
- Show an awareness of the visitor experience and forward thinking horticultural ideas as you plan and implement daily and longer term work schedules and projects to shape and grow the grounds for the enjoyment of our guests
- Reap what you sow with our Kitchen Gardener and Chef team as we work with the seasons to plant and harvest the freshest produce for the Garden Grill restaurant
- Learn new skills and techniques and share your current knowledge as you work on formal borders and gardens, our guest’s garden suites, outdoor dining terraces, formal lawns, a river and kitchen garden, woodlands, chalk grassland, a dog agility course and outdoor tennis court and much more to develop a beautiful, safe and enjoyable space for our guests
- Take responsibility for Health & Safety, compliance and legislation plus grow and support your team’s skills and development
- Demonstrate astute budget management and cost control as you plan for the coming year, maintain current contracts and cultivate an environmentally conscious work ethic
