Recovery Driver

**Job description**

We are looking for someone with at least 1-year of experience in driving a van, preferably a 3.5-tonne flatbed recovery truck with trailer. The person will drive across England, collecting and delivering 5-7 vehicles a day as required.

**Requirements of Driver**:

- Winch experience is essential.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Flexibility is essential - hours will mainly consist of 6:30 am start to 6 pm finish, depending on traffic and bookings on the day. Overtime possible
- The ideal person must be polite and demonstrate exceptional customer services skills, must also be adaptable, resilient, tenacious and energetic in their approach to work with excellent timekeeping
- Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure with a flexible approach to supporting the business and the work schedule.

**Responsibility of the Driver - 3.5 Flatbed**
- Loading and unloading of cars onto the vehicle
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Observe ways to conserve resources and benefit the business, inc fuel
- Serve as an advocate and ambassador for the business, in every interaction with customers and the public
- Complete daily inspections of the vehicle at the start of each shift and report any problems or damage to management
- Comply with all rules and regulations in place
