NCA (Non-Conformance Authority) would be part of the QuEST Producibility Team having responsibility of authorizing acceptance or rejection of Concession/DAR for the reported non conformances and requested design alteration working with Aerospace Engine CAI (Contract assurance Instructions).

**Baseline Responsibilities**
- Responsible for authorizing acceptance or rejection of DAR / Concession.
- Understand relevant CAI requirements for aligned Engine Project
- Review & Approve the impact of requested design alteration on Fit, Form, Function, Repairability, Appearance, Performance, Integrity, Cost, Weight, Assembly, Tooling, etc.
- Review & Approve tolerance stack up calculations
- Review & Approve the effect of non-conformance on mating components
- Review & Approve investigation for adherence to customer Standards & process
- Review & Approve the need for specialist assessment (where required)
- Review & Approve the requested design alteration investigation results.
- Responsible for authorizing the implementation of solution in the current definition
- Responsible for identifying any other non-conformances in the current definition.
- Responsible for rationalizing the risks involved by implementing the requested design alteration.
- Responsible for the product integrity.
- Responsibility for Airworthiness and to the appropriate aviation regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to development of best practices and productivity improvement.
- Contribute to zero-defects & non-conformance reduction.
- Contribute to design & development programs.

**Requirements**:

- HND, HNC or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Production/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent with 10 to 20 years of Design Engineering practice.
- Knowledge of Aero engines is must.
- Experience of different engine architecture will be an added advantage.
- Experience of NX modelling
- Experience of being involved in design solutions and modelling/drafting of gas turbine components.
- Knowledge of Limits, Fits and Tolerances of parts will be an added advantage
- Experience in non-conformance disposition will be an added advantage.
- Should have a liking to work with multi-functional / multi-regional team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
