We are a bicycle workshop/shop situated at the heart of the Cotswolds with future sites planned for London and further afield. We offer cyclists at all levels a fresh take on cycling by bringing art, music and fashion to the forefront of our offering. Our focus is on being respectful, inclusive and most importantly not taking ourselves too seriously.

Our apprentice will support the workshop manager in making sure we operate a safe and efficient workshop. As a growing company, we can offer numerous opportunities to focus on growing skills both in and outside of the workshop. You will be registered as part of the Government's Apprenticeship Scheme, this requires an 18 month commitment. You will receive industry recognised training and qualifications, the cost of these courses will be fully covered for you.

Experience is not required for this role.

Workshop responsibilities
- To assist in the day to day safe and efficient running of the bicycle workshop.
- To work alongside the team on managing budgets for the purchase of materials and tools.
- To ensure consistently high standards of work carried out and perform regular incoming and outgoing inspections on that work.
- To ensure that the workshop is the first point of contact for advice on best practices for the use and maintenance of cycles on site.
- To assist with the retail elements of the operation on an ad-hoc basis.
- To support the onsite management team in line with the management agreement between the company and our partner.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout the workshop at all times.
- Oversee stock supervision in the maintenance and replenishment of parts/tools, transferring and receiving of stock and the organisation of stock storage.

Retail, events and guest services responsibilities
- To handle customer queries and complaints, logging these according to company procedures.
- To assist with the retail side of the business on an ad-hoc basis, maintaining a solid knowledge of the brands we work with and products we stock.
- To ensure confidentiality with regard to the nature of all company contracts and, in all dealings with customers and site visitors.
- To contribute to the planning and running of events throughout the year.
- Maintain awareness of security with all staff members.
- To represent the company in a professional manner at all times whilst onsite and during events/off site functions.
