Hero is a bike workshop situated at the heart of the Cotswolds with future sites planned for London and further afield. We are seeking a cycle mechanic to join us and take responsibility for delivering high-quality standards of care to our fleet of bikes. Providing our expert knowledge and advice to ensure the best possible care and experience, whilst adhering to the specific needs of the site we operate within.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- To assist in the day-to-day safe and efficient running of the bicycle workshop.
- To assist in managing budgets for the purchase of materials and tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop.
- To work alongside the workshop manager in keeping records for monitoring all works carried out in the workshop.
- To ensure consistently high standards of work carried out and perform regular incoming and outgoing inspections on that work.
- To ensure that the workshop is the first point of contact for advice on best practices for the use and maintenance of cycles on site.
- To have a solid knowledge of all components and to be confident in talking about technical aspects of bicycles.
- To assist in handling complaints/accidents and log these according to company procedures.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout the workshop at all times.
- To represent the company in a professional manner at all times whilst onsite and during events/off site functions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
