Cardiology Clinical Typist/ppa

This is an exciting time to join the Cardiology team at Epsom & St Helier Hospitals as we look to develop the provision of cardiology services across the Trust sites. We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our administrative team and support with processing clinical letters to the highest standard whilst meeting our trust targets.

Reporting to the Assistant Service Manager for Cardiology, you will work closely with the Cardiology administrative and Clinical teams to support our performance target of 14 day turnaround of patients letters. A flexible approach and excellent interpersonal skills are essential in addition to having the highest level of attention to detail and ability to follow a process driven workflow.

The post holder will be the point of contact for all clinic letter issues relating to patients’ pathway of care, tracking and supporting our patients & clinicians from referral to treatment &/or discharge.

The post holder will be expected to support queries from patients, clinicians and fellow staff. Excellent organisational abilities, professional administrative standards, and strong IT proficiency will be important skills in supporting day to day duties.
