We have an exciting opportunity for a client-facing experienced privacy Consultant to join our rapidly expanding governance, risk, and compliance team. As a data protection consultant, you'll be concerned with supporting and advising iSTORM’s growing customer base with a wide range of general and detailed data protection related queries and projects. By fostering and developing relationships with our customers, you will become an integral part of their support functions, helping to ensure their ongoing compliance with UK and international data protection law.

**What you'll be focused on**

Supporting clients and promoting compliance with data protection policies and legislation

Effectively engaging with the business and clients to ensure statutory deadlines are met

Advising on privacy and information governance related queries

Responding to and managing data breach incidents

Assisting clients with completing privacy risk assessments and records of processing entries

Leading or providing support for new privacy-related projects or initiatives

Carrying out gap analysis and audits on clients and producing reports and remediation advice

Creating and delivering training, tailored to the customers’ needs

Creation, review and advising on data protection impact assessments and the associated risks

Drafting of data protection related policies, procedures and associated controls

**To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate**:
Experience working within a busy / deadline-driven environment

Passion for Data Protection/Privacy/information governance

Ability to communicate at all levels

Excellent attention to detail

Works in a structured and methodical manner to meet deadlines

Able to manage a busy workload

Highly organised

Able to work individually and as part of a team with mínimal supervision

Passionate about quality

Adept at building and maintaining collaborative working relationships

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
