Early Years Practitioner

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualised care and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning experiences
- Maintain a clean and organised classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Ideally a Level 2 qualification or above in Early Years Education or equivalent - Apprenticeship could be offered to the right candite
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the children and the setting

Monday - Thursday - 7:45-5pm Friday - 7:45-12noon
