**Your role in a nutshell**:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Global Packaging Buyer to join our dynamic team and to own the spend of the packaging category. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role based at our London Bridge global HQ (hybrid working).

The materials are grouped as follows; Aluminium closure /bottles/caps, Glass, Paper & Foil, Pumps and Droppers, Plastic & Tubes. You will be responsible for developing a sourcing strategy and executing it, managing suppliers and taking responsibility for budgeting and forecasting.

Our Global Packaging Buyer acts as the first point of contact for the key internal and external stakeholders transforming business needs into a strategy delivering triple bottom line value creation.

**More about the role**:

- Sourcing strategy: develop a category strategy that is innovative & cost-effective, provide market intelligence, know the global supply base & build long-term relationships, partner with internal stakeholders and transform business needs into the category strategy (KPIs: Savings, WAPT, number of suppliers))
- Financial results: build project pipeline and monitor execution of productivity and savings projects to deliver cost-related goals, negotiate payment terms and deploy consignment stock to deliver cash-related goals, partner with DtV Team (KPIs: Savings, WAPT)
- Budgeting and forecasting: provide input to budget, provide rolling forecast on cost and cash, performance monitor of the actuals versus budget, understand cost models for a given category
- Sustainability: ensure responsible procurement and sustainability agenda is executed according to TBSI ambition, map supplier capabilities about using recycled materials (KPIs: CSR and Sustainability KPIs)
- Leading S&OP process from a procurement perspective

- Procurement experience in packaging is essential
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills and basic financial acumen
- Strategic thinking, advanced problem solving and decision-making abilities
