**Role Overview - Calibration Engineer**

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, are currently recruiting for a **Calibration Engineer** to join their growing quality function. The successful **Calibration Engineer**will be responsible for all aspects of calibration and maintenance of a range of gauges and other measuring equipment.

**Role Responsibilities - Calibration Engineer**
- Responsible for all aspects of gauge calibration, both on-site and with approved vendors.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of calibration techniques in line with recognized national/international specifications.
- Undertake and report calibration measurements on a wide range of mechanical measuring equipment ensuring relevant records of work, data and results are recorded in a traceable and auditable manner.
- Actively manage reporting and data analysis to support the businesses continuous improvement activities.
- Actively participate in lean activities

**Skills and Experience - Calibration Engineer**
- Hold a technical qualification such as ONC, HNC, HND, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 and above or relevant experience.
- Proven experience within manufacturing/quality environments, preferably within aerospace
- Good understanding of calibration practices, theories and UKAS certification.
- Excellent Communication and Organisational skills.
- Able to obtain security clearance
