The Opportunity:

The Sales Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team by managing administrative tasks, processing order requests accurately and coordinating communication between internal departments.

Responsibilities include order processing, invoicing and ensuring a seamless flow of information to optimize the sales order process.

Avantor is looking for a Sales Administrator join our team in Buckshaw Village (Chorley), UK on a full-time basis. The team

As part of a team of 9 colleagues, your main responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our account management function to ensure that we are exceeding our customer’s expectations and providing a market-leading customer experience. You will also be part of a team of 9, with a fast-paced and familiar company culture.

What we’re looking for
- Experience: a first relevant experience in a customer relationship type roles
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Collaboration Tool: Basic Microsoft Office skills required
- You have the ability to work autonomously, while you also communicate well with colleagues and other departments
- You have solid planning and coordination skills with ability to prioritise
- You have an eye for detail
- You have a sense of urgency but handle pressure well

How you will thrive and create an impact

The Sales Administrator is to efficiently manage the process of entering sales order requests into our bespoke system, while also handling invoicing and generating reports to support our Sales team.

The Sales Administrator owns the customer request and experience from initiation to conclusion.

Processes, via computer, all customer requests. Utilizes multiple and often complex systems, programs, and monitors in order to research information.

The Sales Administrator will on occasion handle complex queries and bridge communication between internal departments to ensure swift resolution of issues related to sales orders invoicing discrepancies, or customer concerns. This collaborative approach is vital in maintaining seamless operations and delivering exceptional service to our customers; right first time, every time.
