We're currently recruiting a dedicated Mess Accounts Clerk to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.As a Mess Accounts Clerk, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Input charges and ensure correct subscriptions are added to relevant mess bills
- Produce all mess bills accurately and dispatch them to correct messes for prompt payment
- Pursue any unpaid bills in accordance with current regulations
- An up to date register of all mess accounts must be maintained
- When required you must produce reports on behalf of the Accounts Manager
- To be fully prepared for and assist the Accounts Managr in all audits
- You will be required to undertake cashing up and banking as required by your manager
- You will ensure that all documents are filed in an orderly manner
- You will be responsible for the reporting of any faults to office equipment when necessary
