**The opportunity**:
The Mathematical Physics group at the University of Edinburgh currently consists of: Tim Adamo, Tudor Dimofte, José Figueroa-O’Farrill, Jelle Hartong, James Lucietti, Bernd Schroers and Joan Simón, as well as five postdoctoral researchers and 15 PhD students. The group is part of a broader community of mathematical and theoretical physicists in Edinburgh across the Maxwell Institute for Mathematical Sciences and the Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics.

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
