Job Title

A competitive salary of £40,247 to £47,874 per annum pro-rata if part-time (Grade 7) is offered for this position.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to contribute to our research efforts in scattering amplitudes for gravitational physics at the University of Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in scattering amplitudes for gravitational physics, working with a team of experienced researchers.
  • Deliver research results in an academic context, contributing to the School of Physics and Astronomy's ongoing research effort.
  • Collaborate with faculty members, PDRAs, and graduate students to advance knowledge in theoretical physics.
Requirements
  • PhD (or near completion) in Physics, Theoretical Physics, or Mathematical Physics.
  • Experience in delivering research results in an academic context.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and demonstrating a proactive approach to work.
