**The role**
This role is an extremely exciting opportunity to join our growing team in Barry supporting their customers freight forwarding needs. If you don’t have experience of working within the industry don’t let this put you off applying

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all our clients receive a personable and tailored service delivery to build loyalty, ensure repeat business and enable all jobs to run efficiently and correctly.

You will be responsible for looking after international imports and exports for our clients processing their road, air and sea shipments and completing bookings with shipping lines, agents and haulier’s. Delivering outstanding service to our customers is everything to us so you will make sure you are tracking and communicating all updates to customers, making sure their shipments arrive on time and informing them of any delays.

You will also be responsible for customs clearances and ensuring we have proof of deliveries.

Alongside service, margins are of course incredibly important to us and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have clear profit margins on all accounts and jobs, maximising these wherever possible.

**What you’ll be able to offer**
- Experience of working directly with customers in an office-based environment is essential
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- An excellent telephone manner
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to develop and build strong and personable relationships over the phone and in person with a broad range of individuals
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Accountability to yourself and others
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
- High IT literacy skills
