We are seeking a **WORKSHOP CONTROLLER** to join a Taunton based main dealer that represents a high-quality European brand.
- Management of the Workshop & team,
- Carry out regular reviews to identify operational issues / discrepancies and ensure appropriate follow up actions are taken to rectify.
- Manage the performance of the department.
- Manage and plan workshop & resources to ensure that work can be completed as per schedule.
- Support the sales team to ensure cars (pre-sale) are ready for handover.
- Hold daily production meetings to Plan workload and resources,
- Anticipate production problems based on forward plan / resources and provide support to handle workload.
- Monitor staff performance versus standard role requirements and personal objectives and identify areas for development & training.
**To be considered you MUST have**:
- Previous experience in similar role & proven track record
- Knowledge of Industry Standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong team working & leadership skills
- Flexible can-do approach
