As a legal advisor, you will be responsible for handling a company’s legal responsibilities. Duties may include preparing contracts and documentation and providing a variety of legal support.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing company contracts including drafting and negotiations
- Representing Catalyst Care Group with non-payment of services lawsuits
- Responding to privacy violations
- Assisting with review and negotiation of agreements
- Providing written legal opinions on ad hoc legal issues including compliance
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting basic legal documents for upcoming projects
- Ensuring compliance to healthcare laws and regulations
- Keeping Management informed about important issues and able to present clearly and precisely, enabling others to understand the key facts and issues
- Staying up to date with legal developments and key business information and maintaining awareness of the marketplace and the company’s position within it
- Resolving client and clinician disputes

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to make effective decisions under critical conditions
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-initialize and perform tasks with mínimal supervision
- Computer literacy and the ability to operate common software packages.
- Ability to work well with others and build good relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Flexibility, able to work under pressure and high self-motivation

**Minimum Required Qualifications**
- At least three years of working experience as a Solicitor, Barrister, Advocate or Legal Advisor
- Experience drafting contracts and negotiating terms
- Experience with healthcare providers is desired
- Law degree and appropriate qualification
- Team oriented, effectively interact with peers, and management
- Good understanding, comprehension, and ability to articulate legal concepts
- Efficient time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
