**Job Overview**:
We have been treating the pets of Twickenham and beyond for the last 18 years and we have a very loyal and lovely client base. We have an extremely dedicated and wonderful Team who always put animal welfare at the heart of what they do. We have excellent facilities: digital Xray, ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, laser, to name but a few. We see a wide variety of cases and are constantly learning and striving to improve so that we can give our patients the best care possible.

This role is perfect for someone who loves to be in the centre of a busy working environment, meeting and greeting the clients, answering calls and queries, booking appointments, keeping the reception area clean and tidy and having the odd cuddle with a puppy or kitten The role is multi-factorial and does require good organisational skills and a fair bit of multi-tasking. The Receptionist's role is key in providing the best journey for our clients through our practice and can be very rewarding. No two days are the same, so there is no time to get bored

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our reception team and work alongside our hard-working, caring and supportive team. We are looking for someone organised, with good communication skills, a welcoming and friendly disposition, with the ability to communicate well: organisation and multi-tasking skills are a must, as of course is a love for animals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in electronic medical records system
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
- Managing the reception team day to day
- Scheduling rota's for the reception team
- Carrying out appraisals for the reception team
- Leading receptionist meetings weekly

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic is essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
