**The role - Live-in Deputy Building Manager**
We are recruiting for a Live-in Deputy Building Manager to assist the General Manage in running and maintaining a luxury residential apartment building in Mayfair.
This is a full-time permanent position paying £25,000 per year.
This position is live-in, with a two-bedroom flat within the building in Mayfair included as part of the package. The flat will be completely redecorated prior to commencing the role.
The role is on a 4 week shift pattern as follows:
- Week 1 - 07.00-15.00pm - Monday to Friday (Sat and Sun off)
- Week 2 - 08.00-16.00pm - Monday to Friday (Sat and Sun off)
- Week 3 - 11.00-19.00pm - Monday to Friday (Sat and Sun off)
- Week 4 - 14.00-22.00pm Monday to Wednesday (Thurs and Fri off) 07.00-15.00 Sat and Sun

**What will you be doing as Live-in Deputy Building Manager?**
- Responsible for urgent health and safety or maintenance issues
- Managing the on-site team in the General Manager’s absence
- Communicating professionally and effectively with residents, colleagues, commercial tenants, contractors etc.
- Ensuring all security measures are adhered to and maintained at all times
- Assisting the General Manager in ensuring all H&S compliance is up to date
- Raising work orders and instruct contractors where necessary, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard
- Ensuring building records are maintained accurately and are complete at all times, for example key logbook and inventory, post/parcel log, accident books etc.
- Working with the General Manager to implement company strategy, procedures and processes.
- Monitoring the performance of the team and mentoring/coaching team members when necessary

**What are we looking for in our Live-in Deputy Building Manager?**
- Experience in a similar environment for minimum of 3 years, this can be luxury residential, luxury hospitality, etc - ideally experience working with residential tenants in prime London property
- Experience of Health and Safety legislation for working environment and residential buildings
- Good understanding of residential property maintenance
- Ability to manage outsourced contractors and ensure excellent work standards are upheld
- The ability to problem-solve.
- Previous team management experience
- Fantastic customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of property M&E services including communal heat systems
- Relevant qualification is desirable, such as IOSH. Willingness to continue professional development once in post.
