**Junior Scrum Master**

Location: Lincoln, United Kingdom

We are a leading Software/Technology Company, seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Scrum Master to join our software development team in a full time role. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about Agile methodologies, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to the success of our projects. As a Junior Scrum Master, you will work closely with a Senior Scrum Master and Agile team members to support the implementation of Agile practices and ensure the smooth execution of multiple interesting projects.

**You must be a UK national due to the nature of the tasking and to allow for security vetting if not already obtained.**

Located at our central Lincoln modern offices, with great transport links.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Team Support**: Collaborate with the Agile team to promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Assist team members in understanding and adopting Agile principles and practices.
- **Scrum Process Facilitation**: Assist the Senior Scrum Master in organizing and facilitating Scrum events, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Ensure that these events are productive, time-boxed, and focused on achieving team goals.
- **Metrics and Reporting**: Assist in gathering and analysing team metrics, such as burndown charts, velocity, and cycle time. Support the Senior Scrum Master in providing accurate and timely progress reports to stakeholders.
- **Obstacle Removal**: Identify and help remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress. Collaborate with the Senior Scrum Master to address challenges and provide solutions to improve team efficiency.
- **Learning and Development**: Actively participate in training and coaching sessions provided by the Senior Scrum Master. Continuously develop your understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance Agile processes and practices within the team. Proactively seek opportunities for improvement and growth.
- **Documentation**: Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of Agile processes, decisions, and outcomes. Ensure that team resources and knowledge are well-documented and accessible.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

- Strong interest in Agile methodologies and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address challenges creatively.
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and project management concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA or Trello is beneficial.
- Eagerness to take direction, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute actively to the team's success.

Desirable:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
