You’ll have an essential role in helping make sure that the NHS has the workforce it needs for the future by inspiring people to consider the NHS as a career option. You’ll also help make sure that people have access to up-to-date, accessible and accurate information to help them make informed decisions.

As part of the NHS Health Careers Team, you’ll also be encouraged to continually learn and develop your own skills.

You'll play a key pivotal role in the NHS Health Careers team and the service we provide. Your role is key to providing communications support for events (in person and online), schools competitions and campaigns such as National Apprenticeship Week.

You'll look after Health Careers' social media which involves planning and monitoring activity, devising social media content and building relationships with social media 'storytellers' to encourage young people and others into a career in the NHS.

It ensures that the shape and skills of the future health and public health workforce evolve to sustain high quality outcomes for patients in the face of demographic and technological change. HEE ensures that the workforce has the right skills, behaviours and training, and is available in the right numbers, to support the delivery of excellent healthcare and drive improvements through supporting healthcare providers and clinicians to take greater responsibility for planning and commissioning education and training.
