We are currently seeking a Senior Buyer to join a friendly and supportive Supply Chain Team based in Falmouth on a permanent, full time basis.

On a day to day basis reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
- Initiate purchase orders and amendments for procured products
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible.
- Assist in the development of supplier relationships, agreements, and delivery terms.
- Conduct price negotiations with suppliers to minimise the impact to the business.
- Provide forecasts to suppliers, analysing production requirements and inventory to maximise in time deliveries.
- Liaise with finance departments and suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
- We are seeking someone with a background in purchasing, price negotiation and use of MRP systems

CIPS qualification is not essential but if you are working towards it that would be advantageous

In return the company are offering:
£33k per annum

8am to 430pm Mon to Thursday with an early finish on Fridays - 330pm
