Part-time, permanent -16 hours per week, (Potential for 35.75 full-time hours after qualification and completion of probation.)

Salary - £10.50 per hour, raising to £10.75 per hour on achieving qualification approximately 10 weeks later.

We are seeking unqualified individuals with an interest in becoming qualified Level 1 Gymnastics coach to join our Gymnastics Coach Trainee Programme. So, if you’re thinking about Gymnastics Coaching as a career, we’re here to help you somersault into it and make it a reality.

We pay you a salary while providing training and support needed to become a qualified Gymnastics coach and then you will work in our coaching programme as an Assistant Sports Coach.

**We are looking for approachable, positive, and patient individuals that have**:

- Interest in gymnastics - although you don’t have to have been a gymnast yourself
- Passion to encourage young people to be active and to teach them new skills.
- Great listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

**Compulsory Training dates/times - you MUST be available for all of these**:

- Tues 2nd April and Wed 3rd April 2024 - 09:00-16:00: Welcome & Induction Days
- Thurs 11th & Fri 12 April 2024 - 09:00-17:00: General Level 1 course at Lasswade High School.
- Week beginning 3rd June - Assessment (day and time tbc but will be for a 2-hour assessment during 3rd-9th June)

Other hours are negotiable (to a certain extent) and will be confirmed prior to acceptance onto the Programme.

Please note we have various positions, and you will be based at 1 or 2 venues, however all positions include some weekday afternoons and evenings and at least one day of weekend work. You must be 16 years old by the start of the course on 11th April as per British Gymnastics requirements.
