Ash Safety specialises in the hire, sales and servicing of confined space and height safety equipment, including gas detection, breathing apparatus, fall arrest systems, good lifting and testing services. We also offer a range of training courses covering all aspects of height safety and confined space entry.

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated Sales Office Administrator to join our friendly team here in the Swindon Branch. We are seeking a permanent member of staff who is dedicated and will work full-time, earning £20,000 to £22,000 per annum.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Issuing customer quotations
- Raising contracts in line with customer requests on time-sensitive basis.
- Raising orders to suppliers
- Track and manage due dates of safety equipment and calibration equipment.
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager, Service Technicians and delivery drivers to ensure that works are completed and deliveries are made in line with customer requirements
- Maintaining data, records and paperwork in line with our current document control procedures
- Administrative tasks to support the business.

**Relevant Skills and Experience**:

- A keen eye for detail and precision, the role will involve checking numerous serial numbers, cash totals and specific customer details on a daily basis.
- Previous experience as an office administrator - This is an essential attribute needed.
- Experience in a customer service/ customer facing role, able to confidently communicate with customers and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- The ability to work proactively with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT Literacy including MS Office
- Experience in the hire or construction industry - although this is not essential.
- The ability to work unsupervised once trained in the role.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment as part of a small team.
- The willingness to learn new skills and processes, adapt to different working styles.
- The skills necessary to process large volumes of paperwork and ensure records are kept and filed correctly.
