**Transport Planner, Marshfield, Chippenham**

Resolve Recruitment are working with a market leading plant & transport businesses in the region. Due to progression, they require an experienced Transport Coordinator/Planner to work from their site near Chippenham.

**Daily duties will include**:

- Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will oversee, plan and run a fleet of between 20-25 vehicles (all 8 wheel tippers)
- Dealing with permanent and agency drivers conducing briefs/debriefs
- Communicating effectively with the drivers and manage their progress throughout the day
- Working with a traffic management system to route a fleet of tipper vehicles
- Liaise with our customers and internal departments to take orders for delivery/collection
- Processing daily paperwork and timesheets for the drivers within the Transport department
- Adhoc admin duties
**Skills & experience required**:

- Previous background within the Transport industry preferred
- Good knowledge of the South West region strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach at all times
- A good understanding of compliance
- Attention to detail with the ability to work extremely well under pressure
- Microsoft Office experience essential
