Trainee Estimator

_**This role is well suited to an ambitious and motivated individual with previous experience of working in a Construction / Engineering office.**_

Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.

We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require an additional **Trainee Estimator** to join our passionate, dynamic team. This role can be based at our Wisbech Office.

**Your role will be to**:

- Under the guidance of the Estimating Team Leader, prepare basic designs and estimates for pre cast concrete floor solutions using Architect’s and Engineer’s drawings.
- With support, use design software to produce basic pre cast concrete flooring designs.
- Engage with construction professionals, contractors and customers during the estimating process regarding technical and practical issues relevant to the project.
- Manage the project file and ensure that all current drawings and correspondence are filed and maintained.
- Reflect the company's current commercial and pricing strategy.

- AutoCAD experience - **Desirable.**:

- Must live within a 25 mile radius of Wisbech and be able to commute to the office.
