To work with the Antenatal and Newborn Screening Coordinator to support the delivery of the 6 National Antenatal and Newborn screening pathways. Collation of data to inform the nationally required Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and annual data submissions is a key component of the role, as is assistance with screening audits to inform service provision. Works autonomously within NMC, Trust & Directorate Guidelines to provide total care to a defined number of women. To support the Antenatal and Newborn Screening coordinator to undertake training of staff for antenatal and newborn screening.

To deputise for the Antenatal and Newborn screening coordinator in their absence. To provide support and expert advice to women throughout the antenatal and newborn screening pathways.
