_A field sales role promoting a range of landscaping and paving products through an established network of national and independent merchants across the South West._

**Package**: circa £36k-£40k basic + 10% bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, company car or car allowance, pension, phone, laptop, tablet
**Territory**: South West - Portsmouth and Slough in the East, through Berkshire, Hampshire, Wilshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon & Cornwall
**Selling**: Landscaping and paving products
**Customers**: National and independent merchants, buying groups, building and landscaping contractors and installers

**THE ROLE - Area Sales Manager**:

- A field based account management role, inheriting an established and well performing area
- Promoting a range of porcelain, concrete and natural stone paving, as well as garden slabs, driveway and block paving solutions
- In the main account managing and developing the relationship with a portfolio of national and independent merchants, and a number of buying groups
- Looking to introduce new products into the existing branches, and improve their product knowledge and commitment to the brand
- You will also support your merchants with the tracking of projects with building and landscaping contractors and installers, but this on only a small part of the role
- Roughly 80% of the role will be training and developing the relationship with existing merchant accounts, to introduce new product ranges and improve their knowledge and commitment to your brand

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**:

- You are most likely to already be in a field sales role within or around the construction industry
- This could have been gained from either a manufacturer, distributor or merchant
- And could be from within any discipline of construction. Light-side, heavy-side, interiors, heating & plumbing
- Just as long as are proactive, self-motivated and target driven, with excellent communication skills
