Stock Controller

With over 50 years’ experience in the logistics industry McCulla Ireland are one of the country’s leading providers of ambient, chilled and frozen logistics solutions throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe.
We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with further plans for expansion. McCulla has over 300 employees working across our Transport, Warehousing, Customs and Green Bioenergy Operations. There is an ever-growing modern fleet consisting of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operating our just in time service with environmental sustainability at the forefront of everything we do and making us unique in the market for our customers.
**We are looking to recruit a Stock Controller to join our team at Mallusk, Warehouse & Coldstore.**
**About The Role**
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Liaise with outside hauliers and delivery drivers and prioritise the allocation of bays
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport colleagues to ensure efficient flow of goods
- Accurately record daily deliveries and shipment to maintain information required for periodic inventory reconciliation
- Accurately receipting and despatching product on to / off the computerised stock system and creating the end paperwork.
- Creating order picks / locations for all orders and effectively passing this information to the warehouse staff.
- Track loading times / delivery times and advise of issues in a timely fashion
- Develop and implement inventory operational standards for staff compliance
- Utilize computer systems to electronically track inventory flow, scan stock, and reconcile inventory
- Review inventory to determine the need for stock replenishment
- Coordinate the supply of goods to customers to ensure complete orders and timely delivery
- Address and resolve customer queries in a timely fashion to protect the reputation of the company and ensure customer satisfaction
- Organise and carry out regular pickface checks cycle counts, putaway checks, spot checks, pick checks and bring them to a timely conclusion, with sufficient investigation / explanation
- Provide written reports and results of data analysis to senior management
- Offer recommendations to management on operational policies and objectives required for improved performance
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience in the inventory, warehouse, or logistics field essential
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Strong IT skills
- Self-motivated and good time management
- Good customer service and communication skills with the ability to develop good relationships with our customers.
- A good telephone manner, fluent in English, with a flexible approach to shift changes within department to accommodate sickness, leave etc.
**TERMS**:
- Full time permanent role.
- Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 3.00pm
- Salary £24,000 - £26,000 DOE

**Required Criteria**
- Strong IT skills
- Experience in the inventory, warehousing or logistics sector
- Strong verbal & written English skills
- Good communication skills and be able to develop customer relationships
