**Work Experience**

RSM is working closely with Access Accountancy and other professional bodies to improve access to the accountancy profession. By working together and committing to measurable outcomes, we hope to deliver real change and welcome talented and ambitious young people to the profession from all backgrounds.

**What can you expect?**

RSM are offering an exciting hybrid work shadowing programme for those who have a desire to learn more about the accountancy profession.

This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the world of accountancy and to gain a real insight in to the different types of work that we do, how we work as a firm and the opportunities available to you after finishing college/sixth form.

The intended five-day programme will include:

- insight sessions across various departments within the business;
- interactive exercises and/or case studies to help give you a real feel for the kind of work we do;
- networking, personal branding, wellbeing and employability sessions;
- plenty of opportunities to hear from/speak to current trainees;
- hybrid working - you will have the opportunity to work from one of our RSM offices and work from home as part of the programme;
- a two-way debrief and feedback session at the end of the programme.

You will also have your own logbook to complete over the course of the week, where you can record your activities and reflect on the skills and knowledge you have gained.

This hybrid work shadowing programme is open to sixth form students within the UK, and is scheduled to take place **17 July - 21 July 2023.**

**What we look for**

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic self-starters who are quick to learn and always up for a challenge. We also look for team players who enjoy interacting with others and are curious about how businesses work.

If that sounds like you and you are looking for relevant hands-on work experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you
