We’re seeking a talented Video Editor/ Cinematographer to join our dynamic Creative Services team. In this role, you will primarily be focusing on producing video assets for marketing and social media teams.

As part of our team, you will collaborate with a diverse range of creative talent across production, art, and design across all of our teams. Your main tasks will involve editing trailers and shooting video ads for various social and marketing platforms across our extensive product suite. You will thrive in our highly collaborative environment, working alongside designers, editors, and VFX artists on exciting projects. Additionally, we encourage you to expand your skill set in areas such as game capture and Unreal Engine to contribute on multiple fronts.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Producing/directing both story driven video content and digital marketing assets
- Working with other members of the creative services team across Video, Art and Editorial to bring your visions to life.
- Editing both live action and in-game footage to produce a range of assets, across trailers, cinematics, documentaries and game adverts.
- Acting as cinematographer on shoots and capturing in-game footage to produce assets for use in your videos.
- Working closely with the in-house Audio Team to collaborate on music, effects and foley for your videos.
- Liaising directly with key stakeholders across the business to plan/create video assets, serving the needs of all cross-platform game titles and helping drive forward the video strategy for Jagex Studio; including Jagex Partners, Events, Marketing, Development, Recruitment, Social Media, Executive teams and more;
- Hosting creative meetings to develop imaginative video concepts for entertaining our player base and enticing potential players to join the community.
- Capturing in-game assets, across a number of game engines including RuneScape, Old School and Unreal Engine.

**What we're looking for**:

- Extensive experience working in a professional creative video editing/cinematography role;
- A showreel or portfolio of work you have undertaken, highlighting your talents from creative conception to execution and production, with relevant examples of how your knowledge has or can be applied to the gaming industry.
- Excellent video editing skills with good knowledge of editing terminology, workflows, and best practices.
- A keen eye for cinematography and experience working with professional grade cameras
- Knowledge of the film making process through pre-production, all the way to post-production and delivery
- Vast experience in the Adobe Product Suite, especially Premiere Pro.
- A passion for video games.
- Working knowledge of video platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, and social platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
