Caravan Export Operator

**Job Brief**:
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Conducting thorough visual inspections of all incoming caravans, including the removal of unrequired items.
- Complete all inspection paperwork. This requires full documentation of the caravan dimensions, any interior or exterior defects and clear and precise photography showing the condition of the incoming caravan.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure loading of all caravans into shipment containers in preparation for export.
- Your role will require you to always maintain the safety of the workshop ensuring it is always kept in a safe and orderly fashion
- You will be responsible for consumable stock management.
- The work is physically demanding, you will be working underneath the caravans, therefore you must be physically fit

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Good technical experience with hand and power tools and the ability to operate these tools safely and appropriately for the task in hand.
- Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment where precision, safety and initiative are part of everyday work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Good IT skills, ability to use basic Microsoft software packages including Excel and Outlook.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
