**What you’ll do**:

- Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols
- Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control, and other protective systems
- Act as a first-line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
- Log and transfer calls, relay messages, and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff
- To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

**What you bring**:

- Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
- A full current driving license
- Excellent communication and awareness skills
- Experience in working in a similar role
- Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
- An SIA license is essential

Sodexo is looking for a number of Security Officers to join the team after expanding our operations at Hereford County Hospital. If you are looking for a career that really impacts people's lives, flexibility in hours, whilst having guaranteed hours each week, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
- Hours**:36** **per week**:

- Shift pattern: 3** days or nights per week, 12 hour shifts**:

- Rate of pay**:£12 per hour (£13.20 per hour after 10pm and on weekends)**
