We require a Data Lead to cover an existing workload within a major police force, based in Kilburn Police Station (Hybrid working).

**MUST HOLD IN DATE CTC CLEARANCE IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR POSITION.**

This is an interim position for 12 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.

**Role Purpose**:

- This role has been created to lead on all aspects of Data in relation to the implementation of the Met Shared Services (MSS) Programme.
- The role, a member of the MSS programme Data & Solutions Pillar, will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the data strategy, data remediation and data transformation work required for the implementation of Met Shared Services.
- The MSS Programme will be delivering a new shared services capability for the MPS, a new SAAS based ERP and a new BPO Outsourcing contract for transactional services.

**Skills required to be successful in the role**:

- Excellent working knowledge of managing and evolving business/corporate ERP solutions, specifically in relation to data and analytical services they provide.
- Excellent working knowledge of back-office support systems (HR, Finance and Commercial) and the integration between them.
- Solid understanding of key data, BI & analytic trends specifically within the ERP space.
- Knowledge of processes and capabilities around ERP master data management and data quality practices.
- Knowledge of multiple core ERP data sets (HR, Finance & Commercial) and the integration and interdependency between them.
- Excellent customer, stakeholder and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical and visualisation skills.
- Oracle ERP, OBIEE and BI Publisher skills.
- Strong process mapping, business change and capability development skills in the data and analytics space.
- Ability to develop plans and roadmaps for changes, gathering stakeholder agreement and progressing through to delivery in line with the organisation’s standards and methods.
- Experience of ERP & BI systems including areas of data warehousing, data modelling, data architecture.
- Experience in master data management and processes / solutions to support it.
- Experience in delivery end user analytics and visualisations.
- Experience in planning, managing and executing large-scale data quality initiatives.
- Experience of process and workflow mapping.
- Experience in working in a heavily integrated large scale ERP environment.
- Experience of data migration from Oracle e-business to ideally a SaaS ERP.
