**This role reports to the Head of the A400M Support Centre and is responsible for the overall management of the “in-service” fleet to ensure that the requirements of the operator are fulfilled with respect to safety, operational capability and on-time availability through strategic planning and day-to-day prioritisation of the necessary support services.**

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE**
- Leading and managing the Integrated Operations Centre, through the Operational Management of the Maintenance Operations Centre, Customer Support Representative and Fleet Tasking and Availability Management teams and Functional Management of the necessary supporting resources and ensuring the team’s performance, skills, competences and experience as appropriate.
- Ensuring the delivery of suitably configured and capable aircraft to the operators by provision of a forward available fleet (controlled by Line Services) to meet the requirements of the fleet Integrated Through Life Plan and Contractual Offer process through which the Operator’s Flying Programme is derived, and the associated sentencing of delivery against the offer in accordance with the customer’s CASP process.
- Prioritising Organisational resources to support the HO Maintenance in delivering the required number of appropriately configured aircraft from the forward and depth fleets to satisfy the Maintenance and Flying programmes.
- Co-ordinating and prioritising the response to Unserviceable / AOG aircraft in consultation with HO Maintenance when it is not possible to rectify such aircraft with the extant capabilities of the organisation. This includes prioritising the appropriate support from Logistics, Engineering Support, CAMO and/or Planning.
- Leading and managing operations, processes and resources to produce aircraft of the right capability and in the right configuration to meet the Customer’s flying programme, including the delivery of a twice Daily Operations Briefing to set daily priorities and ensure timely actioning of operational escalations, reporting of fleet availability, Aircraft On Ground.
- Lead establishment and integration of the individual Fleet Tasking and Availability Management elements of the UK A400M In-Service-Support (ISS) solution ensuring cohesive technical definition and planning, taking into account steady state operations, availability of aircraft and tasking of the Customer’s aircraft.
- Establish and maintain strong communications and working relationships with the Customer and its Agencies, with particular focus on liaising and interfacing with operations, engineering and material support branches
- Provide On Call OOH support 24/7 to Operations as Airbus Duty Executive as required.
- Support to the investigation of operational occurrence reports and DASORs as required by the Safety & Compliance Department to include relevant support to OSIs launched by the Duty Holder.

**ABOUT YOU**
- You are a proven leader of multidisciplinary teams and activities within a similar working environment. RAF, military exposure would be highly advantageous although those from a commercial background will be considered too.
