InfraRed is a part of SLC Management, the institutional alternatives and traditional asset management business of Sun Life.
**Job Purpose**
You will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective FP&A function, leading the financial planning, management reporting, cost management and business analysis of InfraRed.
You will also drive change in management reporting to produce insightful information for management across InfraRed and its funds.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Owns and manages InfraRed’s planning & forecasting (P&F) cycles; requesting and collating data from the business, challenging inputs, disseminating meaningful outputs to the Management team.
- Drive systemisation and standardisation, including selection of planning tool, and ongoing process improvements.
- Ensure the integrity of outputs, data, financial models through implementation of suitable controls, documentation and testing.
- Responsible for producing monthly and quarterly forecasts, five year strategic plan and one year business plan.
- Lead scenario modelling to assess risks and aid decision making.
- Responsible for balance sheet forecasting for regulatory purposes.
- Lead and develop the wider Finance team’s analysis capability through having input into learning and development initiatives.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Qualified accountant, ACA preferred.
- FP&A experience gained within financial services, Investment management preferred.
- Advanced analysis skills, including experience modelling complex spreadsheets with large amounts of data, and use of BI tools and Anaplan.
- Ability to gain a good overview as well as being prepared to get involved in the detail.
- Confident when communicating with staff and management at all levels, good ability with PowerPoint.
- Numerate, methodical and proactive.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral, and strong attention to detail.
