Warehouse Administrator

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager they will be a key member of the Warehouse Team, with a responsibility for ensuring the day-to-day Goods In/Goods out function operates as efficiently as possible. The primary focus of the role is to ensure all Customer Goods In deliveries are scheduled and booked in along with managing pick lists and labels for orders our customers require from stock stored in the warehouse.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Ensure all Customer requirements for Goods in and Warehouse goods out are fully understood.
- Enter Customer requirements and information onto Warehouse Management system.
- Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately.
- Complete Customer booking in requirements and complete specific ASNs where required.
- Organise all Goods in vehicle activity and populate daily/weekly plan.
- Generate Pick lists and Labels in line with customer requests for stock.
- Check in Drivers, provide instructions and supply with Site Rules.
- Communicate requirements with Warehouse Team.
- Advise Customers if there are any stock shortages.
- Upload transport requirements to Transport management system in real time.
- Liaise with Transport Team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Manage orders that require a date change and ensure accuracy in our Transport management system &WMS.
- Always ensure focus on customer service levels.
- Ensure all communications are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Deal with any customer issues that arise during the day.
- Ensure any issues are documented within the relevant systems.
**KPI’s and Targets**
Uploading Customer Orders to WMS system 100% Accuracy.
Generating Customer Pick lists and labels 100% attainment against plan.
Ensure vehicles are booked in in line with designated times.
Ensuring all customer information is entered to Transport management system & WMS with 100% accuracy.
**Required Skills**:
Admin experience (preferred) commercial focus and can-do attitude.
Computer Literate
- able to use Word, Excel, as well as warehouse/transport systems (training will be provided)
Self-Motivated - Personal and company progression in alignment.
Self-learner - Ability to continually learn, develop and adapt.
Positive Attitude - reinforce the Edge culture of ambition, commitment and caring.
Initiative - Proactive approach and problem solver
Flexibility - within the role and actively supporting all business functions.
**Working Hours**
37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00
A degree of flexibility will be required in line with business needs.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
