**As the Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer, your primary responsibility will be to carry out comprehensive fire door surveys, ensuring that all fire doors meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing any issues, ensuring the utmost safety of our client properties throughout the designated region.**

**Key Responsibilities**

- **Responsibility for Fire Door PPM, remedial repairs and installation works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded**
***:
- **Provide accurate remedial quotations**
***:
- **Occasionally assist with other carpentry/joinery works as instructed**
***:
- **Ensure that all Fire Doors operates to specified performance criteria**
***:
- **To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction**
***:
- **To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary**
***:
- **To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times**
***
**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**
***
**Qualifications**
***
- **NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification**
***
**OR**
***
- **Experience working on fire doors**
***:
- **Time served carpentry and joinery experience**
***:
- **Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred**
***:
- **Must be IT literate**
***:
- **Full UK Driving License**
***
**Experience**
- **Significant experience in Fire Door Surveys, door maintenance and door set installations/Replacements**
***:
- **Significant previous experience in providing PPM building services maintenance**
***:
- **Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties**
***:
- **Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements***
