**About the Role**:
The Colne Practice is seeking a Receptionist to further strengthen their busy team.

The role is for 24.25 hours per week with the hours as follows:
Tuesday: 08.00 - 18.30

Wednesday: 08.00 - 18.30

Thursday: 13.15 - 18.30

There is more to our receptionist roles than answering the phone and making appointments. In this essential front-line role at the practice, receptionists help patients to access the right services, assist with keeping health records accurate and up-to-date, and ensure that appointment bookings are well-managed.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and working as a team member are essential for this post.
- You will need to be an accurate, methodical person and be able to work under pressure as the practice is extremely busy.

**About Us**:
The Colne Practice is a friendly GP practice with a list size of approximately 10,500 patients.

Our team comprises of 7 GP partners, 2 Practice nurses, 1 HCA, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, reception and admin teams.

We have on site staff parking.
