Based in Middleton, North Manchester, our client is an established and successful manufacturing company that are seeking an experienced Administrator to join their production team. This is an office-based role, working 8.30 - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday and8.30 - 3pm on a Friday.

**THE JOB**:
As Production Administrator you will report to the Production Manager.

You will be responsible for many different administration duties to ensure the success of the team going forward. Your role is pivotal to ensure the production team are able to dedicate the time and resource into managing the sales and production of theorders. This is a varied and very busy role, requiring the successful applicant to have a flexible, approachable and determined attitude to work.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- The administration of sales orders including checking pricing and the calculation of cost of sale
- Inputting and converting orders on to Sage CRM
- Sending order acknowledgements to clients
- Inputting order amendments in Sage
- Inputting and amending orders onto the production schedule
- Monitoring of the shared mailbox to ensure urgent queries are answered by the appropriate person
- Monitoring queries from the client and ensuring responses are provided in a timely manner
- Management of project files on the shared drive
- General electronic and paper filing, including scanning documents onto CRM/shared drive
- Ensuring job files have the correct up to date information, including the most up to date drawings
- Completion of production specification sheets for the production team
- Printing and issuing drawings for production
- Booking collections and deliveries
- Stock ordering and monitoring deliveries
- Client liaison for general enquiries
- Co-ordinating client meetings when required

**THE PERSON**:

- No previous production administration experience is required although experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Strong IT skills - CRM and Microsoft office programmes
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational skills
