**The programme and eligibility**

Employ.ed on Campus is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools. It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh.

As well as great work experience, the Careers Service provides supporting resources, this is combined with a framework to support the development of participants’ employability and self-reflection with an Edinburgh Award as part of the internship.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), fixed term for 12 weeks from 03/06/2024 with a competitive salary at Grade UE03: £21,978 to £22,681 per annum (pro-rata if part-time) (A revised salary range for this grade of £22,214 to £24,248 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024).

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Experience of analysing and presenting complex data
- Excellent IT skills - in particular, a highly competent user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively when faced with many competing demands
- Ability to liaise and work effectively and enthusiastically in diverse teams, and with a range of university staff members
- Passionate about sustainability and social responsibility
- Ability to take initiative and identify areas for improvement

You will be working alongside a highly-specialised **team **that:

- facilitate the highest number of outbound exchanges in the UK.
- Receive around 2000 visiting students every year
- centrally manage the University’s exchange partners and agreements.
- deliver a range of real-world and virtual funded opportunities for students to study and work abroad.
- generate and manage funded opportunities for all staff to have international experiences.
- manage the incoming Visiting Student programmes for the University.
- manage or provide oversight of key University alliances like Una Europa, U21, LERU, UNICA, U7+ and Coimbra.
