**We're expanding our Nursing Team**

We’re looking for an Animal Care Assistant to join our awesome Clinical Team You will be working closely with our Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and the rest of the Nurse team; helping them as required, including patient restraint, basic inpatient care, and preparing meals for our inpatients, whilst maintaining stock levels and ensuring we maintain our high hygiene standards.

Patient care is only part of the role, you’ll also help with the smooth running of our surgical cases and our consults. There is also administrative and reception duties, including answering calls. The role involves working 37.5 hours a week, including some Saturday shifts.

**Applicant Requirements**

Previous experience in Veterinary and/or animal care roles is ideal, an animal-related qualification such as an Animal Management course is also desirable. Full training is provided.

With surgeries in Glusburn, Ilkley and Skipton you can join a passionate team of Veterinary professionals from all walks of life. Based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, within 30-45 minutes of Leeds by train and 30 minutes from Leeds Bradford International Airport.

You'll join a team of 14 Vets and 20 RVNs, with the opportunity to grow your knowledge as you work alongside many skilled & supportive certificate holders. We attend to a wide variety of surgical and medical cases in-house, enabling you to see a huge variety of cases.

Being part of our team means working amongst colleagues and friends who are likely to be from different backgrounds with different experiences but ultimately, when it comes to caring for our patients, we are the same.

Whilst every day is different, our team is established - with many of our team members working with us for several years. Each person brings with them a wealth of knowledge and a caring attitude so nothing is ever too much for someone if you need support.
