Are you a recent Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies based university graduate with a desire to gain first-hand SEMH support experience as a Student Support Tutor?

Perhaps you're interested in progressing into a career as an Educational Psychologist, however want to work alongside experienced professionals with a desire to support your development?

A fantastic secondary school based in the Whitley Bay area is actively looking to find a dedicated, hard-working and outgoing Student Support Tutor to working with vulnerable SEMH students in their KS3 & KS4 department through close 1:1 & small group support outside of the classroom.

**Student Support Tutor -- Role Information**:
Full academic year -- Beginning ASAP
Located in Gateshead (NE2)
Monday to Friday position -- Usual school working hours
Paid 430 per week during term time only
Access to multiple online CPD courses -- SEN, Mental Health & more
Conducting pre-set lessons for KS3 & KS4 English classes
Providing excellent small group & individual support during lesson time

**Student Support Tutor -- Applicant Requirements**:
Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
Strong academic background
Prior experience working with children
Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
Good organisation & communication skills
Passionate about the progression of young people
