As a member of the science department at Teaching Personnel, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students across various age groups and abilities.
- Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with science teachers during lessons to engage students, manage classroom activities, and support practical experiments.
- STEM Promotion: Inspire students to explore careers and further studies in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Exam Preparation: Help students prepare for tests and exams by reviewing content, conducting revision sessions, and teaching effective study techniques.
- Progress Monitoring: Track student progress and provide feedback to improve their learning outcomes.
- Graduate in Science: A degree in biology, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline is essential.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in teaching, mentoring, and supporting young people in their academic journey.
- Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in education, tutoring, or working with young people is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Contract: Full-time, term-time only, until the end of the academic year.
- Pay: £28,500 - £35,000 per annum.
- Location: Whitley Bay area.
