**Role Profile -Section 20 Specialist**

- We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing service charge department.- As a section 20 Specialist you will play a key role in helping L&Q to achieve core success factors of Resident Satisfaction and Financial Strength, with high visibility within the organisation.- You will be part of a team responsible for administering consultation to our residents in line with legislation. You will help ensure L&Q has no service charge deficit achieving this by ensuring that all eligible works and services are correctly consulted for.- Core hours are 9-5, however some flexibility is required.**Key responsibilities include**:
**Essential**
- Strong administration skills, including management of busy mailboxes

**Desirable skills**
- Experience of undertaking consultation for Qualifying Long Term agreements and Qualifying Works
- Understanding of Legislation - Specifically Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
- Understanding of Service Charges
- Effective decision making in a fast paced environment
- Effective and timely use of judgement to validate data
- Lease interpretation
